Taxi transfers: Taxies are available at the airport. One- way transportation is 2.000 dinars (18€)

Transportation between city centre, hotels and venue

There will be no shuttle service organized by the Symposium from the official hotels.

Tipping

All restaurant prices and taxi fares include service, but good service in the restaurant can be rewarded with a tip.Tipping is at guest’s discretion.

Currency and credit cards

The currency in Serbia is “dinar” RSD. 1 EURO is currently worth 116 RSD – 01.07. 2014. Foreign currency can easily be exchanged in the banks and exchange offices. Exchange rates are announced daily. Major credit cards are accepted by most hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and shops.

Climate and clothing

Serbia has a moderate, continental climate. The average temperature in October is 15°C -25°C. Although rainy and windy days mayoccur, appropriate clothing is recommended.

Passports & VISA Requirements

For residents of EU Member States and USA no visa is required. Residents of other countries, please contact the Embassy/Consulate ofSerbia in your country to get information about visa requirements.

Electricity

Electricity supply in Serbia is 220 Volts (50 Hz) and wall outlets are according to the European standard (CEE 7/4) with two pinplugs. The standard two-pin Euro plug(CEE 7/16) can be connected to these outlets.
